Rust in Peace

Rust in Peace

Pencil & watercolour. 3rd in my abandoned series of paintings. The truck is real and the background made up. Wonderful colours in the bodywork as the weather does its work on the metal.

Malcolm Davies

Malcolm Davies I studied art at school in the early 1970's and my early paintings were all aircraft based. As my interests changed I moved on to motor cycles and then to cars. My first commission was gained in 1978 and was for a Jensen CV8. In the years since this first commission, my artwork has gone all-round the world and has covered many of the major marques, from modern to vintage. Through a commission completed for a local accountant I became involved with the UK Ferrari owners club in 1982. A large amount of work has come from owners since then and my work has also appeared in their club magazine and in an Italian originated magazine called Ferrari World in the late 80's early 90's. I have also completed many works for the GB Porsche Owners club members since the late 90's. In the last few years an I have received commissions on non car related subjects, including trams, buses, trolleybuses, maritime and more recently rail based subjects. In October 2019 I became an Associate Member of the UK Guild of Railway Artists. In January 2021 I became an Associate Member of the UK Guild of Motoring Artists My website is

Support Draw to Drive

Dear friends,

when we started this journey, our only goal was to build a small community of octane art lovers. Your passion made Draw to Drive community grow beyond our expectations. As you probably know Draw to Drive is a project developed, maintained and financed by team of three co-founders. With the constant growth of the community, our operating costs grew as well, together with the time needed for maintaining the current platform. Next to that, new features had to take a back seat.

We came to a point when we have to ask for your support to develop new features and keep the platform running. We have enabled a donate functionality so, if you want, you can now support us financially to build a better platform and attract more automotive enthusiasts to our community. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
