Norb Lisinski

Graduating from the graphic design program at George Brown College in Toronto in 1983, Norb’s commercial projects encompass graphic design, digital illustration and private commissions. His automotive art is essentially a hobby and can be categorized primarily in motorsports and classic cars. “I use mediums such as pencil, coloured pencil, gouache, acrylic, oil pastel and digital. My paintings are primarily rendered on canvas, illustration board or Canson Mi-Teintes pastel paper”, explains Norb. He has participated in various private and public showings of his work including, as a finalist, the AJAC Art of the Automobile competition at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto and Vancouver, Artfest at the Toronto Molson Indy, and a variety of private displays. His portrait of Beethoven won the Bronze Award at the Oshawa Art Association’s 50th Annual Juried Show in 2018. Also, his gouache piece “Mosport 40 Years was used for a poster and a book cover for Mosport International Raceway’s (now Canadian Tire Motorsport Park) 40th season in 2001. The work here reflects Norb’s desire to explore many different approaches and mediums. As he says; “There is much to learn from other artists and I try to network with them when possible”.

Support Draw to Drive

Dear friends,

when we started this journey, our only goal was to build a small community of octane art lovers. Your passion made Draw to Drive community to grow beyond our expectations. Draw to Drive is a project developed, maintained, and financed by a team of three co-founders. With the constant growth of the community, our operating costs grew as well, together with the time needed for maintaining the current platform. Next to that, new features had to take a back seat.

We came to a point when we have to ask for your support to develop new features and keep the platform running. We have opened a Patreon page if you want, you can now support us to build a better platform and get a few perks in return.
